Properties: Ranging from white to pale brown, Beech has straight grains and an even finish. It seasons quickly and can contain rich, dark veins through the grain of the wood adding character to the finish.
Other facts: Its robustness means that Beech is often used for solid furniture such as desks and kitchenware. Due to its pronounced grain it is also commonly used in decorative veneers.
