Shiruba Tree

SNAKEWOOD - out of stock

Origin: Tropical South America

Properties: Snakewood owes its name to its appearance, which resembles snakeskin due to its unique grains. However, in some cases it can look more spotty and like a leopardskin. The wood is extremely hard and heavy.

Other facts: Its strength and resistance make it a good choice for archery bows – it can be relied on to propel arrows at great force. It is also often used for drumsticks.
